Another Post - Finally!!!

Well, nothing like waiting 6 months to post to your blog. This is turning out to be a disastrous endeavor. Oh well.

In any case, I am at least including a picture of our new house. Mostly cause I want to see if photobucket really works. So here it goes - our new house...

The House is Done!

Well the new house is finally complete! We officially moved in on Tuesday, February 8th, 2005!!! There are still a few odds & ends left to resolve, but by all accounts the build & move were a success.

It will take several weeks to wade through and unpack all the boxes, repatriating our belongings into their new resting places. The good news is it's like starting with a clean slate, we can put things wherever we want :)

House Update 7/22/04

Well we signed the contract and made the deposit.  If all goes well, the excavation will being within a week or two.  It's always exhilarating to go into debt :)

I will attempt to get some pictures of the progress as we move along the 26 week build schedule.

Now I get to focus on designing and building my home automation vision for the house.  Not sure what it will evolve into, but it will be cool!  I'm thinking about integrating the JDS Stargate system which seems like a really cool product.  

I just want the house done so I can start messing with the technology :)
